Why do I still need ROGERS/TELUS/BELL... etc. to use Cell Time?
ROGERS/TELUS/BELL... etc. are Wireless SERVICE PROVIDERS and provide the means to use your cell phone. Cell Time is a service that allows for unlimited inbound and outbound calls through your service provider.
Why does Cell Time recommend me to change my plan with my service provider?
Cell Time wants to save you money so that you're not charged extra through your Wireless Service Provider. In order fully optimize and provide both unlimited inbound and outbound calling, most plans need to be changed at the provider level.
How do I get in contact with Cell Time if my dealer is unable to answer my questions?
There are two ways you can contact Cell Time. The first is to call the Area Manager and the second is to call Cell Time Customer Service/Technical Support at 1-888-380-2950
Does Cell Time use a VOIP connection?
Cell Time does NOT use VOIP technology but instead, uses its own software and switch, much like the long distance companies use for a home phone. Because Cell Time is all circuit switched using 64K circuits, the network is very reliable and crystal clear.
Do data plans count as part of the Cell Time service?
Data plans are NOT a part of the Cell Time service and must be ordered through your Wireless Service Provider. Although, we do advise our clients to make sure they are on the correct data plan for their needs, and sometimes this results in a significant monthly savings.
How do I program a "Pause" into my phone?
- While editing the contacts in the phone, press the * key continuously until you see a 'w' or a 'p' (wait or pause)

- While editing the contacts in the phone, go to 'OPTIONS' and scroll down to find the 'w' or a 'p'
- Simply press W or P on the keyboard (Some Blackberries... etc.)
What happens if I choose a LIMITED plan and my minutes are close to running out?
We will monitor and will inform you your next billing period. At that time, the Cell Time Rep. will ask if you wish to UPGRADE your plan.
What happens if I choose the UNLIMITED plan and I hardly use my minutes?
We will monitor and will inform you your next billing period. At that time, the Cell Time Rep. will ask if you wish to REDUCE your plan.
Do I have to sign a Term Contract with Cell Time?
No, Cell Time is on a month to month basis agreement.
What happens if I choose to end my service with Cell Time?
Because Cell Time doesn't lock you into a term contract, all you need to do is contact a Cell Time Representative at 1-888-380-2950 and request a cancellation. You will have your service until the end of that billing cycle and will not be charged starting the next month.
